Our Story
We started ModerantAI because we noticed a pattern: every great online community eventually hits a bottleneck—moderation. We saw community managers drowning in review queues and users getting frustrated by slow approval times
At the same time, we were hesitant to use automatic content moderation tools because the risk of false positives was too high. We wanted a tool that was smart enough to understand our community, but could also have a human in the loop.
We realized that the standard choice—between unsafe chaos and slow, manual review—was a false dichotomy. We built Moderantai to prove that you can have it all: speed, safety, and control. Our goal is simple: to hand you back your time so you can focus on building your community, not policing it.
Who We Are
ModerantAI was founded by Jared Fraser, a software developer based in Auckland, New Zealand. With over 15 years of experience building web applications, Jared has worked on everything from exam systems to gaming community platforms with a strong need for content moderation.
What We Believe
Content moderation shouldn't waste anyone's time. Not yours reviewing obvious spam. Not your users waiting days for approval. And definitely not your team's time building yet another rules engine from scratch.
